Advantages and assembly - Filling device
The video shows the installation and function of the filling device. First a suitable opening is drilled in the rain barrel and the filling device is inserted into the downpipe. A hose then connects the filling device to the barrel. In operation, the filling device directs filtered rainwater from the downpipe into the barrel: an integrated strainer holds back coarse debris such as leaves and can be removed easily for cleaning, while an automatic overflow stop prevents the barrel from overflowing. The filling device can also be switched between summer and winter operation.
