Filling the composter

Biodegradable waste such as kitchen scraps, leaves, and small branches can be put into the composter. This produces nutrient-rich compost that can later be used as a natural fertilizer. A composter offers several benefits: it reduces household waste, saves on bio-bin fees, and is a contribution to environmental protection. The ideal location is easy to reach, sheltered from wind, in partial shade, and in direct contact with the soil.
